**Key Responsibilities include**:
In collaboration with the Clinical / Nursing Director of the Directorate / Facility provides expert advice and leadership support to develop, maintain and monitor the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement program for the Directorate / Facility. The key focus on the role for the Directorate / Facility is to:
Develop and implement the Patient Safety and Quality priorities
Support directorate / facility patient safety and quality improvement reporting
Ensure robust incident reporting processes, including investigations, learning and effectiveness assurance mechanisms, are in place to improve and learn from patient safety events.
Support quality improvement and patient safety across the Directorate / Facility.
Support the implementation and sustainability of the National Standards across all units.
