Theatre Bookings Clerk maternity leave position.

**Temporary fulltime (12 month contract)**

**About the Role**

Joining our team in this opportunity will see you provide administrative support to the clinical team and patients by coordinating all theatre booking requirements for patients for admission, and undertaking all theatre administrative functions.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will have prior experience working as a medical administrator. You will display an unwavering commitment to delivering customer service excellence each and every time and understand how to leave our customers with a professional and positive impression of our site, all in line with our Ramsay Core Values.

In addition, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities. You will also have exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders at all levels to achieve positive outcomes.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Strong customer services skills
- Computer literacy
- Competency with Microsoft Office suite
- Able to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Strong attention to detail

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Previous experience in a Theatre Booking role highly desirable
- Certificate in Medical Terminology
- Experience in patient information systems (I.e. Meditech)
- Experience with hospital bookings systems
- Relevant health services experience
