- We’re the only onshore, mixed-battery recycling facility in Australia with the integrated capacity to collect, sort, shred and separate all the components of spent Li-ion and single-use alkaline batteries.
- The
- **Accounts Assistant** will provide assistance to the finance and accounting team in the maintenance and reporting of the company’s finances including assisting with day-to-day transactional activities and providing administration assistance including generating reports, recording payments, processing invoices and tracking company expenses.**The duties will include**:

- Day to day processing of accounts payable and accounts receivables to ensure the timely and accurate recording of invoices, credit card claims and expense claims.
- Preparing and maintaining accounting files
- Journal entries and accruals, perform accounts reconciliation and maintain ledgers ensuring costs are allocated to the appropriate cost centres
- Responding to internal and external enquiries
- Generating invoices and recording payments

- Ability to follow defined processes and systems with strong attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative and think strategically
- High level of professionalism
- Previous experience in a similar role (administration/account management)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven approach
