**About the role**
TAFE SA is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **International Compliance Advisor** to play a vital role in supporting our international education programs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a team where regulatory compliance meets student success.
You will also provide critical support to students transitioning from TAFE SA to university, helping them navigate the next step in their education journey.

**Key Outcomes of this role**
- Ensure all assessments and compliance activities align with TAFE SA's policies, protocols, and relevant legislation.
- Provide advice on SSVF, contribute to policy development, and support staff training across Global Engagement and other business units.
- Act as the key liaison officer for university package programs, managing changes to packages, credit arrangements, marketing updates, and student consultations.
- Analyse and interpret data from PRISMS, including enrolment variations, visa refusals, and packaging trends, provide timely and accurate reports.
- Identify visa refusal patterns and initiate changes to business processes.
- Coordinate responses to legislative changes and trends in the international student market and any amendments to university packages.
- Liaise with the Department of Home Affairs on visa decisions, appeals, and compliance matters.
- Monitor TAFE SA’s Evidence Level advising on required process improvements.
- Case manage student cohorts transitioning to university, ensuring timely documentation and completion verification.
- Collaborate across marketing, admissions, student support, and partner networks to ensure consistent compliance and service excellence.
- Action PRISMS notifications, monitor sector 500 visa conditions, and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) compliance.
**Essential Selection Criteria**
- High-level skills in data entry, computing, and records management, including the proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with the capability to quickly acquire expertise in TAFE SA systems.
- Ability to analyse data, solve problems, and interpret legislation and policy to inform sound decision-making and process improvements.
- Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally, build strong relationships, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and community, and a commitment to culturally respectful practices in the workplace.

**Special Conditions**
- Some out of hours work may be required
- Periodic international, intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Development Program
