**The Client and Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize software testing methodologies and best practices to design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential issues in software systems.
- Analyze complex software systems and perform deep investigation to troubleshoot and debug defects, going beyond simply logging issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, documenting defects and reporting on testing progress.
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Work in a team environment, participating in code reviews and providing feedback to developers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools.
- Adhere to established quality assurance processes and standards.

**Required Skills & Specialisms**:

- Proven knowledge and experience in software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong technical background with proficiency in programming languages and operating systems.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, including experience with Postman for API testing.
- Experience with AWS and DynamoDB is preferred.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to query in the backend for deeper investigation of defects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle defects.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the success of the project.
- Australian Citizen or relevant right to work within Australia visa holder.
