Practice Partner

DXC is currently seeking an experienced Practice Partner to drive product and services offerings into new & existing accounts whilst ensuring the facilitation of relationships and line of business expertise into identified opportunities, customer satisfaction and commercial management of the account.
**What will I be doing?**
- Create and develop a sales account plan for applicable Consulting and Analytics (C&A) solutions
- Understanding the customer’s objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes and forming a long-term business partnership
- Working closely with new and existing clients to determine their present and future needs to adequately propose suitable solutions
- Actively identify and attend networking functions and forums to develop new contacts and business opportunities
- Agree on effective process for engagement into each account and coordinate activities where necessary to maintain required service and quality levels
- Take responsibility and manage tender engagement where appropriate
- Leverage the full capability of DXC and the Solution Framework to optimise the contribution we can make to the customer
- Take responsibility for the overall commercial (and contractual) relationship for the Territory
- Position DXC strategically in the marketplace, maximising all potential business opportunities
- Partner with Specialists (within and outside DXC) to address specific areas of customer need through solutions and technology
- Achieve personal and team targets through the development of new business & increased offerings in existing business
**What experience will I need?**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales to medium-to-large organizations and/or complex Technology Sales environment
- Proven ICT Augmentation / Professional Services sales experience across relevant technologies and services
- Demonstrated experience in the assessment and communication of the value of solutions to the customer
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with customers at all organisational levels
- Strong understanding of Business Principles for example understanding customer business plans, key business drivers, financial situations, funding and decision making processes etc.
- Effective oral and written communication skills to ensure clear and accurate communication with all stakeholders
- Effective negotiation and problem resolution skills to achieve win/win situation
