**The Role**
Are you a high performing and motivated individual with change and/or communications experience that has a passion for improving workforce wellbeing?

As the Change and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating implementation of change management objectives to assist with Mental Health and Wellbeing initiatives, programs and projects.
- Supporting Mental Health and Wellbeing Program and Project Managers with developing change and communication documentation including:

- change management plans;
- communications plans;
- communication registers;
- stakeholder engagement plans; and
- other relevant documents and registers associated with change and communication management.
- Developing, and enabling effective deployment of comprehensive stakeholder engagement maps and plans.
- Developing and delivering high quality written content and strategic communications in support of agreed initiatives.
- Conducting impact insight, assessing change readiness, identifying and planning with key stakeholders across programs and initiatives.
- Identifying, examining, and preparing change resistance mitigation strategies.
- Supporting stakeholders in integrating change management.
- Liaising, negotiating, and building productive stakeholder relationships to deliver on broad strategic direction across Defence as well as with key external organisations

**About our Team**
The Mental Health and Wellbeing (MH&W) Branch was recently established and is the principal lead to align MH&W programs, policies and services across the Defence Enterprise, and acts as the catalyst for change to achieve improvements in workforce wellbeing.

The Branch is situated within the People Strategy Organisation and comprises of an inter-disciplinary team focused on improving the MH&W of the Defence and Veteran community.

The MH&W PMO is responsible for directing, leading and reporting on MH&W program progression and reform and prioritising and sequencing MH&W programs in consultation with the Services (Army, Navy and Air Force), other Defence Groups and the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide (RCDVS) Taskforce PMO.
