Training and Compliance Manager

dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel and flight catering services across five continents. We are looking for a full-time Training and Compliance Manager who will support our National Cargo Operations team.

This position will be responsible for completing gap analysis, risk assessments and driving management of change processes in line with dnata Airport Operations procedures. Key performance areas will be aligning training standards to dnata's internal processes and procedures (dCOM) regularities requirements and airline operational procedures.

This role will report directly to the Director of Cargo, and will be located at Sydney International Airport.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the dnata dCOM (training and compliance standards);
- Lead the development and implementation of prerequisite programs to support the company's management systems to meet and exceed all regulatory requirements i.e. ISO 9001 & ISAGO.
- Management of Non-Conformance/Corrective Action System as per company, supplier and customer requirements
- Oversight of Management of Change process to ensure that stakeholders are following due process in this regard
- Manage on-the-job team coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to achieve high levels of performance and service excellence;
- Lead significant stakeholder engagement and consultation to ensure the delivery of a wide range of stakeholder expectations, diverse interests and demands;
- Develop curriculum, course content and delivery methodology ensuring compliance to industry standards, regulations, legislation and dnata Airport Services’ policy and procedure;
- Lead and mentor Training Coordinators through formal and informal communication and coaching.
- Develop and maintain training policies and procedures and ensure their alignment with IATA, ISAGO, customer requirements, regulatory requirements and associated dnata standards;
- Develop quality training preparation, delivery, and assessment of all courses conducted working closely with Subject Matter Experts and the Training Coordinators;
- Provide quality metrics and accurate reporting on critical training delivery and audit results.

**OH & S Responsibilities**

- Develop and maintain a positive safety culture focused on awareness and vigilance.
- Conduct work in accordance with dnata’s OH & S Management System and customer OH & S requirements
- Follow all safety work procedures, adhering to all safety guidelines provided
- When applicable wear the required personal protective clothing and equipment

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Assessment
- Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution skills and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence in a diverse workforce through a practical pragmatic approach
- Experience in monitoring and reviewing existing processes and procedures and implementing changes to improve operational efficiencies
- Knowledge of problem solving methodologies
- High level of computer literacy and sound knowledge of training management systems;
- Well-developed communication skills both written and oral and negotiation skills;
- Record of achievement in building and fostering relationships with key stakeholders;

**Desirable Criteria**
- Previous experience in or knowledge of airline industry principles and procedures.
