**Job Description**:
- This role involves providing technical consulting services and expert advice to our customers in the insurance and legal industries relating to insurance claims and legal matters involving electrical and electro-mechanical equipment failures, breakdowns, damage, defects, and safety issues following a wide range of incidents.
- Areas of Impact- Provide forensic engineering consulting services-
- Mechanical and electrical failure analysis-
- Damage assessment of mechanical, and electro-mechanical equipment-
- Determine reinstatement options, timelines and costs-
- Fire origin and cause investigations-
- Work with clients, legal counsel and technical staff to mitigate exposure to risk and loss.- Identify and meet with prospective clients to promote our services- Maintain relationships with existing client base-
- Attend industry events, occasionally providing presentations at conferences and the like-
- Create and present webinars to the Asia - Pacific market- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited University-
- 3 - 5+ years practical experience in industry; preferably industrial, commercial or manufacturing-
- Direct diagnostic and problem solving experience with power systems-
- Power analysis or power generation experience-
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical equipment inspections-
- Past forensic investigation/engineering experience strongly preferred-
**Required Skills**:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work at heights and in confined spaces as needed-
- Excellent reading, writing, and comprehension abilities-
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs-
- Ability to clearly and professionally articulate findings verbally and in written form-
- Confidence/charisma for public speaking engagements to small and large groups-
- Ability to interact socially and at mixed engagements with clients- One Company/One Team_
