About the team and role
An opportunity exists to join the Rural Banking team with a focus on
Increasing market share in target markets and identify opportunities for deepening customer relationships and referring opportunities to our partners as appropriate
Proactively contribute to the successful delivery of key initiatives
Prepare concise, accurate and timely loan proposals and reviews whilst ensuring the quality of credit assessment and ongoing management is maintained.
Identify ways to appropriately assist customers to access finance to grow their business and in turn their communities and regional wealth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Business Influencers by proactively networking and developing new relationship with potential future customers
We offer hybrid work arrangement and you will be based out of the major branch or office in the region.
About you
**To be successful you will have**:
Growth mindset and can do attitude. Confident and thrive in a problem solving environment
Experience working in a commerce, finance or banking, including lending, credit and deposit areas
Experience working as a banking/customer relationship manager in agriculture or agribusiness (advantageous)
Understanding of agriculture and farming, including season conditions and relevant market conditions
A clean driver’s licence and be available to travel intra-state and at times inter-state
