Seeking a reliable experienced Medical Receptionist within a busy practice located in the western suburbs to provide high quality Reception and Administrative Services to their Patients and Doctors.
This position will be a permanent role, the right hours for the right person, with an immediate start You’ll be assisting with preliminary testing Patients before they see the Doctor, as well as taking care of the reception area.
**You will be responsible for**
- Greeting & checking in patients
- Answering phones
- Scheduling bookings
- Handling enquiries
- Managing patient files
- Documentation preparation
- Assisting with preliminary testing patients before they are sent to the Doctor
- General administrative duties
**To be successful for this role**:
- Prior experience as medical receptionist
- Interest in Optometry/ Ophthalmology
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Professional presentation
- An empathetic customer service approach
- Competence in all aspects of office admin & computer skills
