We are seeking reliable and motivated MIT students who are currently in their first or second year to take on the role of **Medical Imaging Assistant**. In this role, you will work across multiple SKG sites based south of the river.

As a Medical Imaging Assistant, you will be responsible for patient care prior to, during and after the procedure. Some of your many and varied duties will include:

- Primarily assisting MRI Technologists during clinical procedures and other areas of the department as required
- Cannulating patients once trained
- Assisting with the positioning of patients during procedures
- Giving instructions to patients regarding preparation for their procedure
- Assisting with patient transfers
- Cleaning procedure rooms including changing of linen
- Stock control
- Administrative duties as required
- A caring, compassionate nature
- Excellent customer service skills
- A willingness to train in IV Cannulation

- The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding communication and time management skills
- Computer literacy
- The ability to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment

**These positions are Casual**

**Your flexibility and availability is key as shifts will be spread across the week, predominantly in the evening and on weekend.
