**About the Role**:
The Workforce Planning Consultant will collaborate with key industry, government, and education sector stakeholders to create opportunities for the Department of State Development (DSD) to access and share workforce related data and business intelligence and solidify DSD’s role as critical and central to whole-of-economy workforce planning.

**Key Competencies**:

- Sound experience building, establishing, and maintaining relationships and networks with industry, business, and across inter-government agencies.
- Demonstrated experience required to establish agreements with data partners for access to industry skills and workforce intelligence and insights that inform Departmental planning, industry workforce planning across the whole of skills eco-system, policy development and targeted workforce strategies.
- The ability to represent the Department of State Development (DSD) on cross-agency forums and external facing platforms to promote the DSD workforce planning products, services and reporting outcomes.
- Experience in case management of businesses to build and maintain an understanding of their workforce needs and provide support in the use of DSD workforce products and services.

**Remuneration**:
Competitive salary ASO8 ($121,107 min to $125,679 max pa) plus superannuation

**Qualifications**:

- **Essential**: Nil
- **Desirable**: Business related Degree such as sales and marketing, commerce

**Special Conditions**:

- The role will be offered full-time (1.0 FTE), 24-month term contract.
- Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) required prior to employment.
