Perth, Australia Department of Veterans' Affairs Full time

Salary Range:$83,013 - $86,511+ Attractive Superannuation

**Duties**
- Undertake claims investigations and determinations under the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 (VEA), the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 (MRCA) and/or the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related Claims) Act 1988 (DRCA).
- Provide advice and interpretation, including in writing, on aspects of legislation to colleagues, senior managers and clients.
- Liaise with DVA staff, clients, and outside organisations to reach timely and correct determinations on claims.
- Undertake tasks and projects to enhance the quality and consistency of service to clients and operational efficiency

**Eligibility**
- Applicants must be an Australian citizen to apply.

**Notes**

Non-ongoing positions will be offered for a period of 18 months with the possibility of extension.

A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions within the next 18 months.
