Procurement Category Manager required with Insurance Experience

**Your new role**

Bring your experience, ambitious nature and procurement skills to this Procurement Category Manager role where you'll deliver outstanding claims supply chain solutions that directly impact customers. You will be tasked with reviewing existing models together with piloting new initiatives that serve customers at claim time through a modern motor supply chain.

The role involves managing the Motor Claims supply chain across AUSPAC Division by delivering end to end procurement category management of various sub-categories, supplier relationship management and sustainability, working closely with Motor Claims, Strategy and Supply Chain teams to deliver customer-centric models and solutions that provide value to the business.
- Lead and support various procurement categories and projects across the Motor Claims supply chain (addressable spend ~$250M), including but not limited to delivering commercial benefits and outstanding customer experience at claim time.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop category strategies across Motor, bringing outside market intelligence.
- Utilise your supplier management expertise to support motor supply chain (SRM)
- Work with Motor Strategy to pilot new and innovative supply chain solutions.
- Liaise with key stakeholder internally to ensure claims requirements are understood and met as part of any procurement initiative.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Vast background and expertise in end-to-end procurement,
- Experience with Procurement in the Insurance industry is extremely beneficial.
- Experience with direct category management.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity
- Confident and persuasive communicator, able to engage effectively with various stakeholders, including senior Claims management
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively, including with risk and compliance support teams

**What you'll get in return**

This role is a full-time, permanent position paying upto $175k including super.
