**About your role**

We are currently searching for a Finance Analyst to support one of our key commercial business units, whilst working closely with the broader Finance team with 2 direct reports for this 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a key role and is responsible for effective and efficient delivery of all financial accounting information for the business unit, supporting the delivery of the budget, forecasts and financial performance reporting. You will ensure key accounting activities follow process and are compliant with Ixom Group policies and controls.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute month-end close processes, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, HFM data loading, and preparation of financial reports.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with Group accounting policies, identifying and addressing risks and opportunities, and resolving aged/high-risk items.
- Facilitate routine management reporting, including variance analysis (e.g., variable cost, production, usage variance, CODB) to support senior management in business performance evaluation.
- Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks, providing regular compliance reports to Group Finance and other key stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on accounting issues and evolving standards to various business units as directed by Group Finance and Group Tax.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, CapEx, Cashflow), including detailed analysis, year-over-year comparisons, and presentations to senior leadership

**Who are we looking for?**
- Tertiary qualified in Finance or Accounting coupled with CA/CPA qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in management accounting and strong analytical skills
- Solid knowledge of integrated ERP systems and associated tools; SAP experience required, highly regarded HFM experience / understanding
- Advanced Excel skills and intermediate PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills and ability to engage and work with stakeholder groups
