As a newly created position, the Compliance Team Leader will act as a support to the Head of Legal, Compliance and Contracts to deliver exceptional services across the department with a particular focus on training (direct team and across Place), team support and guidance, and compliance activities.
To be successful in this position, extensive experience in conveyancing will be required as well as proven experience leading and growing capability within teams, and an open mindset towards learning new things and being responsible for varied tasks.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from our HQ located on James Street, Fortitude Valley.

**Requirements**:

- On-the-ground supervision of a team of contracts administrators, providing them with guidance and support to evolve their skills and knowledge
- Acting as the auditor liaison on behalf of each entity, collating information and updating stakeholders
- Assist in developing best practice guidelines and fact-sheets for all levels of the business to increase education and aid in on-going compliance
- Training the internal contracts administration team and Place staff from business owners to entry level administration support
- Facilitating management related activities, including managing service contracts, arranging general repairs/ maintenance, and purchasing of premise related items
- Assisting with managing insurance policies and claim management
