Due to significant investment and progress, Northrop Grumman Australia (NGA) is seeking a Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst to join our International Trade Compliance team to manage Australian, U.S. and other International regulatory and policy requirements for imports / exports for NGA programs.

The position is preferably based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, however we are open to Canberra or Adelaide as well.

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day export control operations in accordance with relevant Northrop Grumman Australia Command Media.- Manage export licensing requirements.- Deliver export control induction and training to build awareness of export control regulations and related risk of non-compliance.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian export controls, ITAR and EAR regulations and information, EU and other international controls and best practices for compliance.- Provide support and assistance to all personnel.- Management of record keeping requirements for transactional activities.- Prepare department reports as assigned.- Participate in cross-functional and/or cross-sector working groups and projects.- Any other duties that may be required.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent professional experience.- Experience in interpreting and providing guidance on Australian, U.S. and international export and import regulations for the licensing of commodities, technical data and defence services.- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence others.- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; both written and oral.- Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance (NV1).
