- Coordinate, develop, and implement the Smart Moves Smart Lift program across Barwon Health
- Collaborate with the Work Health Safety team to mitigate patient manual handling risks through training, incident investigation, and advising on best practices
- Play a key role in ensuring staff safety and promoting safe patient handling procedures throughout the organization.
- Temporary part time opportunity (40-48 hours per fortnight) ending 15/11/2025

**About the facility**
- Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

**About the role**
- As the SMSL Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

- Co-ordination, development and implementation of the Smart Moves Smart Lift program throughout Barwon Health.
- Contributing to and assisting the Work Health Safety team to effectively mitigate patient manual handling risk through training, incident investigation and advising the organisation on best practice safe patient handling procedures and equipment.
