**Job Description**:
Elastomers Australia is currently seeking a hands on and practical Training & Development Coordinator to join our Melbourne Office. Reporting to the Organisational Learning and Development and Learning Advisor, this role will assist with arranging and coordinating internal and external training on a national basis. This role will also be responsible for the administration of Elastomers Australia training programs and L&D requirements within the Office, Servicing and Manufacturing arenas.
Duties
- Develop relationships with managers and supervisors to assist in the implementation of training programs and initiatives within their departments
- Monitor employee training requirements against the Company’s Training Plan
- Action various data entry requirements including updating individual training records
- Prepare training certificates and training booklets where required
- Schedule and organise internal and external training courses
- Liaise, communicate and build rapport with all internal and external stakeholders and preferred providers.
- Identify high performers and assist with the research and/or training to further develop their skills
- Develop and maintain learning resources and materials
- Assist in creating and updating work instructions
- Provide training reports, monitoring and rectifying gaps, particularly for licenses, first aiders and compliance requirements
- Maintain the Company’s training database nationally
**Requirements**:
- Positive attitude with a can do approach
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
- A genuine passion for L&D
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Formal qualifications in training and assessment, ideal but not required (e.g. Cert IV TAE)
- 2-3 years of experience in a training role
