We are currently seeking for an experienced dental assistant/ front office administrator to join our well-established and highly respected specialist prosthodontic practice in a full time capacity, commencing immediately.

Gary is a highly regarded and well known specialist, and has lectured extensively throughout Australia. He has been a specialist in removable prosthodontics for 34 years (a general dentist for many years prior), and has held a part-time appointment at the University of Queensland Dental School as the Senior Lecturer in Removable Prosthodontics for many years. Gary is always continuing his own learning, and keeps up to date with all things dentistry both past and present. The successful applicant will learn a lot of valuable dental knowledge and transferable skills during their time working alongside Gary.

Eligible applicants must be self-motivated, caring, well presented and have great interpersonal skills. You must also be able to adapt into a number of various roles and enjoy what you do.

For this role you will require:

- Some experience in a dental assisting
- Infection control management knowledge and skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Aptitude for new learning environments
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Skilled at multi-tasking and working to different time frames
- A kind, friendly, enthusiastic personality with a great attitude

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Front office administration
- Greeting patients
- Taking phones calls
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Managing patients’ treatments plans
- Scheduling appointments
- Coordinating with other medical practitioners
- Managing laboratory work
- Sterilisation and infection control
- Assisting clinically when required

Hours
Monday to Friday 8:15am - 4.45pm

Remuneration
Salary based on the competence you present in this role.
