Explosive Materiel Branch’s (EMB) Land Explosive Ordnance SPO, within Land Systems Division (LSD) are searching for multiple Integrated Logistics Support Officers and Managers to work across the capability lifecycle of guided weapons and munitions.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring CASG is able to safely equip and sustain the ADF, efficiently and effectively. Working within an integrated workforce, we have exciting opportunities for highly motivated and professional staff.

As an APS5 or APS6 ILS Officer you will be required, under limited direction, to perform and achieve complex materiel logistics and inventory management work, within an integrated workforce, in order to manage a critical fleet of Explosive Ordnance to ensure Army capability is delivered on time, within budget and with value for money considerations.

You will be accountable for organising workflow and required to make independent decisions relating to your area of responsibility. You will interpret and provide advice within the Materiel Management function area based on legislation, policy and procedures, undertake technical research and analysis, conduct reviews and perform procedural or clerical work to achieve results.

You will be required to engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. You will also be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.

**About our Team**
Land Explosive Ordnance Systems Program Office (LEOSPO) is located in Penrith. You will work in a high performing team on some of the biggest and most complex products in Australia.

LEOSPO partners with industry to deliver materiel capability to Defence, managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of complex, high-profile acquisition and sustainment activities to support our customer; the Royal Australian Army.

In LEOSPO you will work within an Integrated Product Team, alongside engineers, commercial, procurement and technical staff and will enjoy experiences and opportunities that, as an APS employee, you simply wouldn't get with any other organisation.

LEOSPO lies within the Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB) of Land Systems Division (LSD) and manages the acquisition, sustainment and disposal of a large range of guided weapons and explosive ordnance for Army, as well as the wider Australian Defence Force.

Defence needs people who seek challenges, can adapt to changing work priorities, have excellent time management abilities and demonstrate effective communication skills across all levels.

An undergraduate degree and experience in CASG, Defence or Defence Industry are an advantage but are not essential.
