.**The Division**
The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal network strategies and place plans across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.
**The opportunity**
We have an exciting Ongoing Full Time Opportunity for a Lead Business Process Design** **to join the Customer Strategy & Technology division in the Customer Systems and Operations branch. This role is responsible for leading a team who will identify business process improvement opportunities which will then be designed, endorsed and documented. Working within a small dynamic team, they will have the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work. The role will be instrumental in bringing together stakeholders from a variety of business units to identify operational efficiencies, document impacted business processes and achieve an effective enterprise library for dissemination across the branch and would be perfect for someone who can communicate effectively at all levels and love finding answers, not being provided.
**What you will be involved in**:
- Utilize best practices to analyse, support and lead the detail design and execution of processes
- Evaluating existing business processes, determining, and outlining business process improvements, coordinating business process improvement strategies with internal stakeholders.
- Overseeing all aspects related to the implementation stages of business process improvement initiatives, analysing, and monitoring implemented changes to business processes and adjusting as needed.
- Represent the team in various forums to communicate complex information to various stakeholders
- Assess inefficiencies found within As-Is processes and enable continuous improvement.
- Influencing, motivating, and inspiring diverse multidisciplinary teams to meet various delivery challenges, project, and program expectations.
- **Change Leadership** - Builds trusted relationships across functional teams to achieve a shared goal. Formulates change management plans and acts as a catalyst to accelerate outcomes
**About you**
- Excellent understanding of Process development methodologies like EPC and other BPMN tools.
- Demonstrated experience on ARIS platform and MS Office Suite of products
- Ability to guide and mentor while take ownership of tasks and work collaboratively to resolve issues
- Strong written, verbal, reporting and presentation skills and analytical ability
- Sound leadership, problem solving, and organisational skills characterised by attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize various points of view into a cohesive narrative
- Excellent creativity and problem solving along with a keen business sense
- Passion for excellence and the desire to have a significant impact on the business
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading teams directly and through influence
- Ability to both lead and support. Willing to “go the extra mile”
- Demonstrated ability to commmunicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders or stakeholder representatives, well rounded interpersonal skill set with the capacity to build strong relationships
- Ability to create culture and behaviour changes
