We're seeking a Public Relations & Communication Officer

**Your new company**

As the Public Relations and Communication Officer, you'll be responsible for developing public relations campaigns and supporting marketing strategies to communicate the benefits of education to stakeholders. You'll work with the organisations leadership team, service areas within the office, and school principals to promote the role our schools play in our community.

**Your new role**

Your duties will include developing and implementing public relations campaigns, media engagement plans, and communication strategies. You will also be responsible for
- Implementing engagement plans for funding stakeholders, donors, and other VIPs to develop a greater understanding of the organisations mission, purpose, and values
- Support the Senior Manager with events for the Director such as staff awards and recognition, celebration events, and exhibitions.
- Manage social media, content creation, and community engagement with users on sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
- Write promotional material for the Director, web content, speeches, talking points, scripts for videos, publications including the annual report.
- Identify and organise photo and video opportunities and coordinate studio or location photography.
- Monitor and report on public relations, media, and marketing trends and support the Senior Manager with media liaison.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this position, you'll have...
- Experience working in public relations, marketing, events, journalism or business
- A demonstrated understanding of how to confidently develop, implement and evaluate public relations campaigns, media engagement plans and social media management
- The ability to travel offsite as required for media and event purposes
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
