**Yurika** is hiring We have **12-month Fixed Term** opportunities for **Metering Technicians** to join our Meter Delivery team to be located at **Perth, Western Australia**.

**Your opportunity**

As a Metering Technician, you’ll build on your highly practiced electrical skills to ensure the safe and efficient provision of metering asset field services for our communities across Western Australia.

Here’s how you’ll do it:

- Complete new residential meter installations as well as 3G modem change-outs for existing digital meters.
- You’ll support the installation and maintenance of all types of metering services for Yurika in Western Australia and provide support in the high voltage testing of instrument transformers.
- You’ll assist with complex testing practices and procedures on behalf of Yurika’s metering customers and other clients.

The remuneration for your new role is:

- **Metering Technician 1**: from **$108,859** pa (**9-day fortnight only**) plus **14.75%** superannuation.
- ** Metering Technician 2**: from **$128,919** pa (**9-day fortnight**) or from **$148,901** pa (**10-day fortnight**) plus **14.75%**superannuation.
- ** Metering Technician 3**: from **$141,453** pa (**9-day fortnight**) or from **$159,842** pa (**10-day fortnight**) plus **14.75%** superannuation.

**What you’ll bring**
- Current Electrical Workers License, trade qualified within Western Australia or an ability to obtain mutual recognition.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical metering and/or installation practices, regulations, and procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety requirements and the operation and maintenance of metering installations as well as the ability to install, test and fault find complex metering systems including telecommunications equipment.
- Current ‘C’ class open Drivers Licence.

We’d also love you to have:

- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers.
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to plan, prioritise and co-ordinate resources to deliver positive outcomes within the agreed timeframes.
- Excellent customer service skills with ability to solve issues and adapt/learn new skills.
- Experience working in HV enclosures including maintenance and testing of instrument transformers (highly desirable).
