**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and foster long-term business relationships with key clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, proactively identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations with clients to understand their goals, communicate software features and benefits, and propose value-added solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to provide valuable market intelligence and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to management, highlighting key performance metrics and recommending strategic initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support, training, and troubleshooting to ensure maximum satisfaction and customer retention.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to expand the company's presence and network with potential clients.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the industrial automation software industry.
- Deep understanding of industrial automation concepts, processes, and technologies.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to grasp complex software solutions and effectively communicate their value proposition.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel as needed to client sites, industry events, and company headquarters.
