**Perioperative Clinical Educator**

**Greenslopes Private Hospital**

We are seeking an experienced **Registered Nurse** to join the **Clinical Education Team** at Greenslopes Private Hospital in a **full-time** capacity. You will be providing education and clinical expertise to nursing staff in our expanding Perioperative environment.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Leading and supporting a team of Perioperative Clinical Facilitators to plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based education programs for the Perioperative space.
- Facilitating the completion of department based training and clinical competency assessments.
- Providing clinical support to our nursing teams.
- Contributing to the hospital Quality Improvement processes.

You will have a committed and proactive approach to professional development, demonstrated experience in mentoring clinical staff, developing and delivering innovative education programs and be an exceptional and positive role model.

Essential Criteria:

- Relevant Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum of 3 years’ post registration experience.
- Five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a perioperative department.
- Demonstrated ability to educate staff in formal and informal settings.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently where required.
- Proficient computer skills including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Criteria:
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment - TAE40116.
- Post Graduate qualifications in the perioperative environment or Clinical Education (or working towards).
