Sales Co-worker

WHO YOU ARE
Do you enjoy working in a hands-on environment? To be successful as our next Sales Co-worker, we need you to have:
- A passion for our home furnishing products and working with customers
- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently and take initiative
- A proven experience working in a fast-paced customer facing environment
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
- Strong communication and customer skills, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A safe mindset, and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting
- Availability to work up to 3 out of 4 weekends a month AND a mix of weekday morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Actively approaching customers and understanding their needs in order to sell suitable solutions for them.
- Being an expert in your area to build strong relationships with customers throughout their researching, planning and purchasing journey.
- Daily merchandising, pricing, inventory control and maintaining the department in shape as new.
- Working closely with the Logistics team to ensuring your area is always well-stocked, tidy and presentable.
- Condensing stock, including unloading pallets and cutting boxes open in order to place items in their locations for customers to easily access.
- Making decisions on the go to problem-solve, being agile to respond to business needs and customer trends Working closely with other departments to ensure the customer has the best possible shopping experience.
- Supporting other Sales areas and within the business when required.
