Warehouse Operator

**The Opportunity** Join our warehouse team based in **Prestons, NSW. **This is a great opportunity to work with a highly experienced team and gain exposure to build your career. You will work 38 hours per week, day shift; Monday - Friday. **Responsibilities** - Processing inwards and outwards goods - Picking, Packing and dispatching customer orders to keep our warehouse running smoothly - Your great attitude along with your attention to detail will mean our warehouses will stay well organised and the right products will get to our customers in line with our service promise No matter what stock you are managing, from screws and rivets to cabinetry and hardware, you will use your knowledge and numeracy skills to ensure the goods are stored appropriately or picked/packed and sent on to the correct location. **What you will bring and develop** This is a busy role, so you’ll need to be reliable, committed and have great attention to detail to succeed. As an engaged and proactive team player you’ll pick things up quickly and won’t be afraid to step up when things get tough. - Pick packing. Prior experience will help, but is not essential - Experience working in a warehouse/distribution centre environment is preferable but not essential - A good level of physical fitness - High numeracy skills and strong attention to detail - Ability to work well within a team - Previous experience with RF Scanners would be advantageous. - Forklift license would be advantageous, as would high reach forklift experience. - This is a day shift role.
