From picking and packing to inventory control and parts interpretation, you'll be the backbone of our operations—and we'll support your growth every step of the way.

VDI Australia Group of companies has been the sole national distributor for Yutong buses since 2018, specialising in retailing Yutong buses, luxury coaches, and their parts to a wide range of businesses and industries across Australia. At the forefront of the industry's transition to zero-emission buses, we are incredibly proud of, and passionate about, the extensive range of vehicles we offer.

We are an Australian-owned, family-operated company with branches in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Cairns. Having experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, we're now looking for the right person to join us at this exciting phase of our organisation's development and help expand our national spare parts operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in the Bus or Heavy Vehicle Industry, or a strong mechanical or parts-related foundation. You'll work closely with our Warehouse and Workshop team in Sydney and report directly to the National Parts Manager. We operate Pentana/ERA systems—experience with these is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Key Accountabilities are but not limited to –

Participate in structured spare parts training to build technical knowledge and career capability

Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Ensure obligations under the National Heavy Vehicle Law and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) are adhered to

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick stock, unload trucks/containers, label stock, and locate in store)

Perform inventory controls and maintain high standards for audits

Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation

Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

Conduct pre-start checks and operate warehouse vehicles and equipment

Skills and experience –

Good organisational and time management skills 

Able to lift heavy objects

Current forklift licence desirable

Excellent Communication skills Written and Oral 

Willingness to learn and grow within the spare parts discipline
