**Your role in our future.**

Co-lead in the management of perioperative services through the coordination of nursing activities and related services in the DOSA and Stage II Recovery areas.

Ensure the provision of high-quality patient care in accordance with organisational strategic direction.

Provide comprehensive and individualised nursing care through the patient’s perioperative journey as governed by the ACORN Standards for Perioperative Practice in Australia, and the policies, procedures and processes of the Operating Suite and PMCC.

To develop and implement strategies to facilitate and streamline the activities of the Operating Suite to improve patient experience.

**Skills Required**:

- Provide clinical and interpersonal services that meet the holistic needs of our patients and their families, together with the needs of the internal customers of the Suite.
- Contribute to the development of the surgical program through continuous improvement and teamwork
- Facilitating the work of medical, nursing and support staff whilst performing in the ANUM role in the DOSA and Stage II Recovery areas
- Assists in maintaining a safe environment for patients, co-workers, staff and visitors.
- Adheres to the principles of defensible documentation and ensures that nursing documentation is complete, up to date, signed and dated.
