Holmesglen Private Hospital is looking for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to work across our Operating Theatre specialising in an Opthamology case mix on a part time/full time basis. **About us** Holmesglen Private Hospital is a world class facility located in the South Eastern region of Melbourne. Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. - including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services **ANUM Position Responsibilities** - Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement - Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes. - Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based. - Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources - Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives - Undertaking direct patient care, as required **Selection Criteria**: - Current Registration with AHPRA (no conditions) - Working with Children check - 3 years ANUM experience - Work of a rotating roster and all shift types - Degree in relevant specialty area remove - Sound clinical knowledge - Compliance with ACQSHC National standards - Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills - Positive role modelling behaviours - Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation - Ability to manage a dynamic and changing environment - High degree of computer literacy including MS office and various data bases **Why Healthscope?** When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
