**About the role**:
Drivers play a crucial role within Coates, ensuring the safe delivery of goods and equipment across the country. This role is **(based in Alexandria)** often the face of Coates and requires exceptional customer service and professionalism, as well as working to tight deadlines and ensuring and maintaining a high standard of safety.

**A day in the life of a Coates Driver**:

- Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations.
- Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery
- Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval.
- Operate and manoeuvre equipment on and off a tilt tray. eg boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts
- Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe yard

**Your skills & experience**:
Alongside a positive and flexible attitude, you enjoy working in a team and have a customer focused approach to your work. You will also have:

- A valid heavy vehicle driver’s license. (EWP and Tilt tray licences are highly regarded)
- Experience loading and unloading equipment using correct restraint
- A clean driving record and a commitment to the importance of safety - you are an expert on the chain of responsibility.
- Proven customer service skills
- Adequate technology skills
