Delivery Driver

We work on a variety of major and high-profile construction projects across NSW, including; Sydney Metro's, high-end hotels, high-rise residential & commercial towers, hospitals, universities, major sporting facilities, data centres and government & defence projects.

**The Opportunity**

This hands-on role plays an important part in the successful day-to-day operations of the business by coordinating the delivery of materials and equipment to various construction sites across Sydney and ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse operations.

We’re looking for a dedicated and energetic individual who is good at planning, organising and prioritising your work, with a proactive approach to problem solving. You'll have a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on delivering seamless operational support to the business and the project delivery team.

**The Role**
- Deliver cleaning materials, equipment and machinery using the company van to various construction projects across Sydney in a timely, safe and professional manner
- Load and unload deliveries and equipment on site and in the warehouse
- Drive and reverse a trailer for delivery of machinery
- Ensure all safety checks and documentation is completed daily
- Conduct regular equipment checks for functionality/repairs
- Ensure equipment and machinery is cleaned and maintained
- Verify receipt of items received from suppliers against orders & delivery documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards both on and off site and whilst driving
- Receive sign-off by client for works completed
- At times, perform construction cleaning works and operate cleaning equipment on site
- Stock and inventory control and reporting
- Monitor and report on equipment tracking across all sites
- Safe storage of chemicals and equipment
- Ensure all company vehicles are stocked, cleaned and maintained
- Regular contact with cleaners, project delivery team and clients
- Maintain a safe, efficient, clean and organised warehouse inside and out
- General warehouse cleaning and housekeeping
- Ad hoc tasks as required

**About You**
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Available Monday to Saturday 6.30am - 4.30pm
- Full driver's license
- Able to communicate effectively and be fluent in English
- Capable to drive a company van and confident driving a trailer/reversing a trailer
- Good geographical knowledge of Sydney metro and surrounding areas
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Able to multitask and prioritise deliveries based on their urgency
- Physically fit, with the ability to meet the job's physical demands
- Positive attitude, friendly, well-presented and professional
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to handle a fast paced and dynamic environment

Knowledge of warehousing and or construction industry will be highly regarded and any construction cleaning experience and/or ability to use machines (pressure washer, walk behind scrubber, carpet cleaner etc) will be a distinct advantage.

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
