A rare opportunity has arisen to appoint a** Full Time Associate Product Manager - Imaging / Energy.**
Reporting to the Product Manager - Energy, your key focus will be to support the creation of comprehensive and effective marketing plans which grow and protect product sales revenue. You will accurately analyse and present market, sales, budget and other financial data, and effectively present Olympus product information to internal and external customers.
As the Associate Product Manager for these two business units, you will assist the Product Managers to accurately analyse the market environment and develop strategic marketing plans to maximise revenue. You will support the creation of strategy presentations, new product launch plans and product training and manage budgets and resources effectively. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive market penetration of the product portfolio in a manner that aligns with Olympus’ vision, policies and procedures
**Core Responsibilities**
- Maintain an awareness of local and international surgical trends to analyse opportunities and threats for the Olympus surgical business.
- Assist with the selection of appropriate products to launch and market within Australia and New Zealand with well-considered pricing and life-cycle management strategies.
- Assist with the development and communication of executable marketing strategies to drive product and market segment growth whilst maintaining compliance with relevant codes, laws and regulations.
- Ensure that the sales team and sales managers are equipped with information, tools and resources to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships, including with overseas Olympus entities, national surgical member organisations and HCP advocates.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate critical information specific to the BU product portfolio or marketing activities.
- Assist the Product Managers with reporting requirements for local and regional divisions on product performance, market intelligence and business unit management.
- Support supply chain processes, including accurate forecasting, to ensure that inventory levels align with sales performance and strategic activities.
- Utilise marketing and CAPEX budgets and resources effectively to maximise ROI
- Assist with product training and Medical and Scientific Affairs activities pertaining to the business units.

**What we are looking for**:
You will consider yourself to be a supportive and proactive and you will have:
- Previous marketing experience within medical devices or pharmaceuticals (desirable)
- Previous sales experience within medical devices (desirable)
- Experience presenting business plans and strategies to internal and external stakeholders (desirable)
- Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and networking skills
- Ability to manage meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel for customer meetings, training events and conferences
