Based in Wangara, this close-knit team, with a strong focus on safety and production, are seeking to support and train someone in the Telecommunications industry.

Due to expansion, they are now seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the team as an Apprentice Telecommunications Technician. Ideally you will have prior construction experience and enjoy working outdoors.

You will be expected to assist with:

- NBN and network operations
- Installing pits
- Terminating of cables
- General manual labour tasks including trenching and cable hauling
- An interest in construction and telecommunications
- Attention to detail and good hand tool skills
- Needs to have sound mathematic skills
- Must be reliable and enthusiastic
- Have a white card, police clearance
- Have a manual driver's licence and own transport
- Be reliable and punctual
- Happy to work in outdoors - rain, hail or shine and enjoys physical labour
- On the job training
- A supportive environment
- Training in the Certificate III Date and Voice Communications, as well as the opportunity to conduct a series of short courses relevant to the role.
