At **ABC Music Group** we teach instrumental music lessons to Primary School students in Melbourne.
**We are seeking Keyboard, Guitar and Drum Teachers, teaching in primary schools in Melbourne (Western Suburbs and/or Northern Suburbs )**

Our curriculum is designed to enrich the musical and educational experiences of students, providing them with opportunities that contribute to the whole school and community. Our program apart from group and private lessons includes ensembles, rock bands, assemblies and concert performances among others.
- Applicants must be suitably qualified and hold a _**Working With Children Check**_
- **Applicants MUST be Australian / NZ Citizens**
**- This**position **would suit young mothers**thatwould **like**to return back to the work force. You can drop off and pick up your children from school/childcare and work during the hours they are at school.
**Skills and experience**
- **Have qualifications at least Advanced Diploma/Tafe or higher qualifications in music or music education**
- Able to teach lessons to both group and private students, for primary school students
- Teaching _**two instruments is an advantage**_(the 2nd instrument at least at a beginner level)_
- Be willing to be involved in all aspects of our music program including, concerts and assemblies
- Organisational skills, including timetabling of students and travelling between schools
- **Current Victorian Working With Children Check**
**- Teaching experience** in primary schools and experience teaching would be highly advantageous
**- Can commit to work until** the **end**of the **school year at least 1 day a week (during school hours)**
- Has a car/own transport would be highly advantageous__
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- No weekends
Supplementary Pay:
- Retention bonus
**Education**:
- Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- music teaching: 2 years (preferred)
- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Teaching children: 1 year (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (preferred)
