Working in a small highly professional team and reporting to Legal Counsel, you will be assisting Legal Counsel deliver services across a multidivisional company across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. You will be responsible for taking ownership of our Contract Management System, to streamline and standardise our Medical Technology commercial contracts and to review and negotiate low risk commercial contracts.
**You’ll be responsible for**:
- Building EBOS Medical Technology’s Standard Contract Repository into Contract Eagle and ensure document controlled with Quality.
- Management of all commercial contracts through the Contract Review Process.
- Understand the EBOS Medical Technology’s Contract Playbook to be able to:
- provide fundamental contract rules internally; and
- brief Legal Counsel on contract risk.
- Ensuring that the EBOS Medical Technology’s Contract Playbook is up to date with key clauses and key positions.
- Maintain relevant Corporate Governance & Compliance document by assisting Legal Counsel with Modern Slavery compliance and Privacy compliance.
- Assist in preparing for any reports to General Counsel.
- Assist Legal Counsel capture and mitigate legal risk in the Medical Technology business, including within its standard operating procedures.
- Legal administration.
**And to be successful we think you’ll need**:
- Bachelor of Laws (strongly preferred) or Diploma in Legal Studies/Paralegal Studies;
- Previous 2 years’ experience working as a Paralegal or qualified lawyer in either a national law firm or in-house legal team, preferably with experience contract law and/or general corporate law;
- Strong relationship skills with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Experience working in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry and with Contract Eagle or Contract Management System knowledge, a distinct advantage.
