**Ovolo Woolloomooloo** is the brand's flagship Australian hotel, located in Sydney's idyllic harbourside suburb of... (dramatic drum roll) Woolloomooloo. Nestled in the heart of the popular wharf precinct, a short walk to the city's central business district, the hotel is surrounded by a wide selection of much-loved dining and nightlife options. Ovolo Woolloomooloo features 100 guest rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, meeting rooms and events spaces, a swimming pool, and Alibi Bar & Kitchen (100% plant-based).

**The Gig**

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing and leading a range of departments including Front Office, Reservations, Night Audit, Housekeeping & Engineering to ensure successful operations.
- Embracing and adhering to Ovolo Group Brand and Service Standards with both internal and external guests.
- Being a problem solver Own, act and solve problems and complaints on behalf of the Ovolo group and your team.
- Knowing your customers
- research their needs, analyse and adopt trends... Make it your own. Regularly seek feedback from customers and actively anticipate their wants and needs.
- Developing and implement hotel wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Identifying operational challenges and facilitates improvements to prevent reoccurrence.
- Obtaining a solid knowledge of the hotel product, brand and what it stands for.

- Position works with direct reports to develop and implement the operations strategy and ensuring the implementation of the brand service strategy & initiatives.
- You are deadline driven and results-focused and settle for nothing less than the very highest standards of service delivery
- You are amazing with your team coaching, training, developing and inspiring comes naturally to you
- Solid financial and commercial acumen is a must, with the ability to drive revenue and achieve bottom line profit
- You have an eye for detail and are solution focused. You see operational challenges and facilitates improvements to prevent reoccurrence
- This is a hands on role, working on the floor, leading your team from the front, the visible face of the rooms operations here at Ovolo Nishi
