**Talent International** is searching for experienced **ICT Delivery Manager** to join our client, a large **State Government** department.

**About the Role**:
As the ICT Delivery Manager, you will drive Technology Services tactical and operational initiatives, and be responsible for managing the portfolio by advising, governing, monitoring and reporting in line with organisational priorities. The role is key to progressing significant, complex and varied ICT projects and BAU activities from ideation through to successful delivery.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead initiatives, projects and deliver high level communication and documentation to project sponsors and other key stakeholders ensuring they are briefed on objectives, milestones and progress through to acceptance, whilst always maintaining a customer/stakeholder focus.
- Undertake a leadership role to drive the delivery management governance and process methodology and provide leadership and coaching to staff.
- Scope, plan and manage the delivery of high-profile ICT or business change project/s.
- Recommend and establish project governance arrangements.
- Monitor, manage and control activities in accordance with agreed plans, including management of financial costs, risks and issues, and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken to deliver the initiatives and projects on time and to budget.
- Advise Project Boards of any deviations from plans that may exceed tolerances and provide recommendations on actions.
- Manage stakeholder relationships including communicating, negotiating and influencing various stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Maintain own professional development whilst contributing to a learning culture with the aim of achieving best practice project delivery through enhancing the capabilities of staff.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Knowledge and experience in project management methodologies will be highly regarded.
- Successfully led complex ICT/ICT enabled, business change or financial management projects through to completion.
- Demonstrate prior experience in managing a large and diverse portfolio of technical initiatives and experience establishing and managing governance frameworks and planning, within similar organisations.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively lead a diverse project team.
- Influence and negotiate with stakeholders and other teams to achieve results and effectively communicate project requirements and outcomes, both in writing and verbally.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with the project team and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are me.
- Act as a coach and facilitate staff development when required.
