The Opportunity

We're looking for someone who is passionate about Observability and Automation to join our team You will have extensive experience of Application Performance Monitoring with industry leading Application Performance Monitoring solutions. With a site reliability mindset, your primary focus will be on further developing and building a best-in-class Observability capability. You’ll have a curious mind and be a go-getter

**What you’ll do**:

- Analyse tests results and work with Developers and Engineers to help them understand and develop enhancements
- Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability
- Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions
- Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements
- Develop real time observability to support both tactical and and strategic direction
- Help drive business value and growth through innovation
- Drive technical integration and implementation activities across other toolsets and capabilities
- Maintain and provide visibility of Dashboards and business metrics
- Work with our External Technology Providers to provide internal consulting as needed to ensure best practice / integration and support/Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhancement

**A Bit About You**:

- DevOps, Agile or SRE experience with extensive experience in Application Performance Monitoring in complex customer facing digital environments
- Hands on experience with Application Performance Monitoring toolsets (Dynatrace experience would be highly beneficial)
- A motivated self-starter who can innovate, implement and collaborate across teams
- A social side and great sense of humour are a must

**Role Location**

At Pet Circle we believe that collaboration and team connection is key for success. This role can be based remotely within Australia & New Zealand. To ensure you have the opportunity to connect and collaborate face to face with your team, we will support you with travel to our nearest office once per quarter, likely for 2 days.

As part of your working from home arrangement we will provide you with an allowance to make your at home office setup comfortable in addition to the IT hardware you will need.
