**Position Summary**:
The General Manager (GM) is the second most senior member of the Vice Ventures Operations team and reports directly to the Managing Director & Third Party Advisors. This role is accountable for the effective and efficient management of day-to-day operations across FOH, financial performance, marketing and outlet activations, customer service, and overall business growth. The GM also leads assigned strategic projects that may span multiple departments and disciplines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Management**
- Oversee staff rostering, ensuring appropriate coverage for busy periods, openings/closings, and seasonal demands.
- Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing performance reviews.
- Maintain and enforce compliance with all training, safety, and company policies.
- Ensure consistent adherence to opening and closing procedures and food safety protocols.
- Lead regular staff meetings to align team focus with KPIs and upcoming events.
- Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of back-of-house areas including rubbish zones.
**Team Training & Development**
- Implement and update training checklists.
- Ensure all staff have completed required training and signed policies and procedures.
- Conduct ongoing skills assessments and support upskilling to ensure operational depth.
**Financial Performance**
- Monitor and manage wage costs, food and beverage COGS, ensuring targets are consistently met:
- Track and report daily financial KPIs.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute promotional and revenue-driving initiatives.
**Customer Service**
- Foster a customer-centric culture across FOH and BOH teams.
- Ensure completion of customer service training modules for all staff.
- Maintain high service standards and address gaps in performance proactively.
**Marketing & Activations**
- Coordinate with senior management to schedule and execute all promotional activities at least four weeks in advance.
- Ensure flawless implementation of marketing campaigns and outlet activations.
- Provide post-activation performance reporting and feedback.
**Strategic Projects**
- Execute special projects as assigned by the Managing Director & Advisors, occasionally outside of core departmental responsibilities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solver with a focus on continuous improvement
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
