The role is responsible for gas compression parts and service sales activities, including the purchasing of parts, equipment, and services required for both workshop and field-based projects at Wasco (Australia). It also involves overseeing mechanical trade activities related to gas compression and ancillary equipment. Additionally, the role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with parts and service customers, which includes quoting and estimating for parts sales, service, and maintenance work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Raising purchase orders and receipting incoming stock
- Lead scheduling workshop activities to repair parts and equipment to maximise efficiency
- Coordinate customer jobs and complete necessary documentation
- Responsible for sourcing additional materials/equipment when required
- Lead/compile expressions of interest, quotes, and tenders as required
- Responsible for quoting spare parts, reconditioning, and overhaul enquiries
- Assist with logistics for transport of parts and equipment for servicing jobs
- Develop OEM agency relationships (e.g. Ariel, Waukesha, CAT, etc.)
- Oversee the setup, maintenance, and service of workshop tools and equipment, general workshop cleanliness, and layout
- Carry out mechanical workshop service, overhaul, and maintenance orders for customers
- Manage and schedule resources for maintenance projects at customer sites as required
- Supervise apprentice technician(s) and field service technicians
- Coordinate customer jobs and complete necessary documentation to enable timely invoicing
- Site visits as required

**Qualifications & skills required**:

- Trade qualification / secondary education
- 8+ years of experience
- Highly desirable to have experience with Waukesha, Caterpillar or Ariel rotating equipment
- Compression and rotating equipment O&M experience
