**About the Role**

The Milling Assistant position is situated in our Southern Feed Mill which supplies stock feed to our southern piggeries. The role reports directly to the Mill Manager. Training and professional development, will be offered to the successful applicant. The role responsibilities include:
Reporting to the Mill Manager, role responsibilities include:

- Pre-load finished feed deliveries from customer feed orders into the Weighbridge computer ready for out loading
- Assist finished feed delivery truck drivers with loading out feed while completing necessary paperwork/ computer records
- Test and receive incoming grain and meal delivery trucks
- Top up dispensing hoppers & bins
- Perform durability and analysis of raw materials and finished products
- Operate and maintain tractors & augers
- Undertake other duties as required

As a key member of this team, the successful applicant must have:

- Current drivers licence (essential)
- Current Forklift, EWP or Confined Space licence is an advantage but not essential
- A preparedness to work flexible hours (including afternoon and evening shift work)
- Have the ability to work under pressure to meet production and customer requirements
- Be committed to upholding the highest levels of animal welfare and bio-security standards
- Be willing to undertake any additional training required for the role
- A demonstrated professional, safe organised and disciplined approach to work
