**About the role**

The Health Insurance Portfolio team exists to supports the Delivery Capability of Health Insurance (HI). In this role, you will lead the Discovery, Shaping and Intake phases of an Initiative in accordance with the HI Portfolio and APAD (Accelerated Performance and Delivery) Hub process. This involves creating fit-for-purpose artefacts, frameworks, process and hosting regular intake forums. This role will form close working relationships with a diverse range of delivery professionals.

Sitting at portfolio level, you will utilise your wealth of experience in Enterprise-wide Agile Delivery and understanding of tech jargon to aid in your success in the role. You will be passionate about change and optimization, and excited to be part of the HI Portfolio transformational change roadmap.

You will also have focus on:

- Leading the Discovery, Shaping and Intake processes to ensure work is analyse and assessed appropriately before commencing delivery activity. This may incorporate Analysis, Impact Assessment, Design, Cost and Time Estimation, T-Shirt Sizing of Initiatives, and Investment Case creation support for Initiative Owners.
- Process and Frameworks owner for the Discovery, Shaping and Intake stages in the lifecycle of an Initiative.
- Working closely with the portfolio data analyst to produce relevant reports based on an every changing environment.
- Assist in the planning activities leading up to quarterly portfolio processes such as sequencing, PI Planning and Epic readiness.
- Participate and lead information sessions providing people insights into how the Portfolio operate.

**About You**

To be considered for this role you will have:

- Demonstrable experience in execution of portfolio processes - syncing across a variety of operating models, business segments, functions, and alignment of multiple delivery approaches.
- Proven track record as a delivery lead / manager in an agile environment, working on medium to large sized projects.
- Solid understanding and experience in estimating complicated initiatives.
- Ideally Strong technical acumen in modern software engineering practices.
- Complex stakeholder management and engagement skills, including communication to executive and C-level audiences.
- Commercial acumen - experience operating within benefits and value realisation frameworks, including cost effective delivery and productivity measurement.
- Established industry and market skills and relationships within the agile and modern delivery spaces - e.g. Scrum Alliance, Agile Business Consortium, etc.
- High proficiency in ADO or great experience in Jira.
- Ability to manage multiple streams of work effectively.
- High level of flexibility with a strong ability to lead teams successfully through cultural, process, system and transformational change.
- Ability to think creatively to solve problems and to thrive on challenges requiring innovative solutions.
- Strong experience managing a library of data records and experience facilitating large workshops.
