Manager - Transport Planner (Brisbane or Melbourne)
**Manager: Transport Planner / Transport Modeller / Transport Economist**
**Planning & Infrastructure Economics (Brisbane or Melbourne)**
Ideating and planning for our cities and regions and their infrastructure needs is complex, as is understanding how they will grow and which projects will enhance community wellbeing and prosperity now, and into the future.
The challenge lies in the need to balance a ‘predict and provide’ approach that addresses immediate infrastructure demands with strategic infrastructure, which has the potential to shape the future and alter demand patterns.
Our **Planning & Infrastructure Economics** team can help plan for our cities and regions for now and the future by helping develop and prioritise projects that address the immediate as well as long term requirements and generate sustainable community benefits.
**Your Opportunity: Transport Planner / Transport Modeller / Transport Economist - Manager (Melbourne or Brisbane)**
As our team grows nationally, we have a new Manager opportunity to be based in Melbourne or Brisbane for mid-career professionals with transport planning, modelling and/or transport economics capabilities.
You will have a background in transport planning, strategic transport demand modelling and/or economic modelling, looking for opportunities to work with and learn from some of the best transport leaders in Australia and:
- Help develop and provide strategic advice to our clients in the planning and prioritisation of transport infrastructure projects.
- Manage complex economic and statistical models or transport demand models to support high profile investment decision making.
- Help develop innovative and novel approaches to transport demand modelling and/or economic appraisal and cost-benefit analysis of transport infrastructure and initiatives.
- Develop policies, strategies, feasibility studies and business cases for transport sector investments.
- Gain exposure to a range of different clients across numerous sectors, including transport and infrastructure.
- Manage client engagements or discrete workstreams within a larger engagement, coaching and developing junior staff and client resources.
- Work in a flexible environment with working from the Home, Office, and Client hubs.
**How are you extraordinary?**
- You are skilled in transport and infrastructure strategic demand forecasting and/or economics including business case development.
- You have a passion for facilitating better community outcomes through enhanced infrastructure, assets, and places.
- A strong interest and commitment in the use of technology and data to improve the way in which social infrastructure and services projects are planned, delivered, and managed.
**Your Experience**
