This is an opportunity for a seasoned manufacturing expert to join the Operations team at our Clayton South Factory with an environment where no two days are the same.

This role will report to the Shift Manager and be responsible the coordination of all shift activities to achieve daily production objectives to deliver the plan and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). With a strong focus on material movements between warehouse - factory - production lines this role is critical to our just in time manufacturing operating model.

The Role
Track and monitor plant performance, escalating any issues to the Shift Manager and/or daily direction setting meeting
Lead problem solving activities
Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Drive a culture of solution focus on the shop floor
Involvement in safety and quality activities in the factory

About You
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Food manufacturing within a multi process / multiple production line environment, preferably wet and dry manufacturing environments
Certificate IV Competitive Manufacturing
Strong communication skills
Proven experience in a coordination or indirect leadership role supporting a large production team
Ability to maintain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
Demonstrated technical know how with a deep understanding of material flow and Stores roles
Working knowledge of H&S, GMP and HACCAP
Prior experience with a large CRM or SAP (preferred)
