- Wildly successful food retailer, huge ecommerce presence, expecting to achieve over $1b in sales, double digit growth each year in as well international expansion
In this newly created Product Management position, you will play a key role in establishing a multi-year product strategy for their digital experiences and processes, from inception through to execution.
They're looking for a pragmatic leader who can engage and collaborate across the organisation, bringing together a combination of technical hands-on experience along with project and product management best practices.
**Responsibilities in this role include;**
- Develop and continuously refine a digital product strategy and roadmap
- Create business cases and project documentation, including requirement specifications and success metrics for digital features, enhancements and major initiatives
- Engage, facilitate and manage internal users and stakeholders to understand their needs, identify issues and opportunities
- Manage initiatives as it relates to the digital experience from conception, development and commercial release
- Provide product knowledge and a sound understanding of market and competitors, technology capabilities and customer requirements
- Manage third party relationships where relevant.
- Drive innovation from a product and technological perspective
- Solve business problems with technology-based solutions
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and stakeholders
- Build effective customer centric virtual teams to deliver quality digital product.
**To be successful, you will ideally have;**
- 8+ years of product management experience
- In-depth knowledge of digital and software products with experience in ecommerce
- Ability to manage & prioritise conflicting agendas across stakeholders
- Able to influence optimal outcomes as well as push back and manage expectations where necessary
- Able to shape product direction and execution based on customer needs
- Solid understanding of design principles and agile development approaches
- Demonstrated experience of working with technical teams to deliver innovative digital experiences
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline - Engineering, Business or marketing desirable
