**The Company**

We are looking for your extraordinary accounting skills. You will enjoy extensive professional training to reach your full potential as an integral member of a rapidly growing team.

Our client, based in **Welshpool, **are looking for an Accounts Officer to start immediately, initially for 2 months, with a high chance to extend for the right person.

Our client is looking for an all-rounder, with exposure to both AP and AR, with a focus of Credit Control, and is a fantastic opportunity to work in a close-knit and knowledgeable team.

(Please note as this role starts ASAP, you must be based in Perth to be considered)

**The Role**
- Maintain Aged Trial Balances with comments to ensure that status of all customer accounts is reflected accurately
- Perform reconciliation of Debtor accounts on a need's basis
- Following up on customer accounts and liaising with them regarding any finance related queries.
- Accounts Payable processing, 3-way matching, and payment runs.
- Daily assessment of debtor risk and appropriate action where required - including recommendation for referral to collections agency (request authorisation to send account to collection agency where appropriate)
- Ad hoc duties as required.

**Your Skills & Experience**
- Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or related field.
- Prior experience in Navision will be a benefit (not essential)
- Forward-thinking skills in MS Excel.
- Special client focus to provide excellent service to business partners.
- Strong communication skills to maintain positive working supplier relationships.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
