**Your New Opportunity**:
Stepping into your new role as a **Workshop Controller**, you'll allocate works to our **Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics** while working closely with our Service Manager and Service Advisors to maintain customer satisfaction.

Based in **Lytton** you'll use your skills and experience to oversee job reports, develop work instructions, prepare info for quotes and repairs and not be afraid to jump on the tools when the team needs a hand. Your mechanics will rely on you as a point of escalation for any tricky problems, and you'll provide guidance and training where required. This is the perfect role to take the lead and improve workshop efficiency

**About you**:

- Minimum **5+ years post qualification** experience in **maintenance, service and repair **of heavy vehicles and trucks.
- Experience in Western Star, MAN Trucks & Bus, Dennis Eagle, and Detroit advantageous
- HR license desired, however not essential
- Easily work independently, but just as happy working in a team.
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty and help the team when needed, flexible to pick up overtime as required.
- Have effective communication and leadership skills - you'll be talking to everyone from apprentices to customers and everyone in between.
- A positive, can-do attitude with the drive to help your team develop and succeed.
- Strong attention to detail and the desire to improve in the workshop with continuous improvements
